This Hillside Acres wedding near Camrose, Alberta was almost a destination wedding in Mexico. But as they went down their list of guests – they simply couldn’t imagine their day without all of them there and were faced with the reality that many of them wouldn’t be able to travel.
And so they chose to have their wedding locally surrounded by all of the humans they loved. Officiated by one of their stepdads. Working with vendors they had known from long before.
These two gorgeous brides are the kind of people who can make you really believe in love. I don’t know if I’ve ever met a couple whose love for one another is so physically visible – in the way they look at each other, in the frequency of their contact, in the intentionality of their words and actions.
I really can’t believe that this is my job. That I get to witness such intimate moments on a regular basis. It’s the kind of job that makes you see how beautiful the world can be.
This was the most beautiful day.
